Sometimes you just can’t decide what it is you want to eat, whether for lunch or dinner. ‘No Name Tortilla Grill’ in Berlin, Connecticut can easily satisfy a craving for delicious Mexican inspired foods. You might get confused as to the name of the restaurant. No, it’s not that it has no name, but its name is literally ‘No Name’. The owner of this restaurant couldn’t come up with a name, and uniquely named the establishment ‘No Names Tortilla Grill,’ considering the foods offered were Mexican inspired and most came hot off a grill. No Names is the only one of its kind; it is not a chain restaurant, which in many ways makes the restaurant appealing to the public. No Names is set in a quaint neighborhood, surrounded by a couple other restaurants and is near the New Britain Stadium. Whether you want something quick to eat with lots of flavor, or just want to go out for a family dinner, No Names is the place for you.
The restaurant’s overall look is laid back with a color scheme reminiscent of Mexico and autumn leaves. Dark reds, greens, yellows, and oranges fill the restaurant with striking colors, creating a relaxed and welcoming feel. If you don’t feel like sitting at a booth, bar stool, or a table inside, you can always sit outside in the warm weather under a nice umbrella on the patio during the spring and summer. Even so, if you’re daring to sit in the fall winds, you might sit outside also.
If you’re looking to watch some sports on a shiny flat screen and drink an ice-cold beer, you might want to head over to ‘No Names’ on a Thursday night. No doubt, there is a bar at ‘No Names’, but the restaurant is still undisputedly child friendly. There’s no missing No Names’ huge sign on the side of the road. Once you pull in, finding a parking spot is extremely easy. There’s tons of space in the back of the restaurant to find a parking spot comfortably and close enough so you don’t have to walk far.
There’s no mistaking it, ‘No Name’ lives up to what it offers. The cuisine at this restaurant is absolutely scrumptious. The menu is large, and the possible combinations are endless. The amount of food offered compared to what you pay for is amazing! For around $7, you can get a huge basket of nachos that can be eaten by two or three people with whatever toppings you would like. Ingredients are always fresh and the food is bursting with flavor profiles beyond your imagination. ‘No Names’ is famous for their Burly Burritos. They include your choice of seasoned veggies, marinated steak, ground beef, molé marinated pulled turkey, and chipotle grilled chicken. You can put anything your heart desires on the burrito, whether it be pinto beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, and or whatever else your stomach’s craving. The establishment is also well aware of the vegetarians. No Names offers a selection of
Mexican inspired salads and other exciting foods that meat-free and vegetarian friendly. The menu consists of nachos, quesadillas, tacos, tortas, fajitas, salads, burritos, soups and chili, and fiesta bowls. Anything you order will be hot, fresh, and appetizing. There are homemade salsas made fresh everyday to dip your chips into. Sodas and other drinks have free refills throughout your experience at No Names and are readily accessible.

The staff is tremendously friendly and everyone’s easy to converse with whether it, be your first time coming or a regular customer. The staff makes it their priority to make you feel comfortable and ensure your experience at No Names is the best it can possibly be.
